Primary classes are broken into classes by age. Ten and eleven year old boys are part of the Blazers class. Blazers classes are devoted to learning the Articles of Faith, Scouting, and preparation for the Aaronic Priesthood. As soon as a boy turns 12 years old, he graduates from Primary and is ordained a deacon in the Aaronic Priesthood. Upon leaving primary, these boys are enrolled in the Young Men's Program, which is a part of the Mutual program.
