Nephi is the name of several people, places, and books associated with the Book of Mormon.

People

Places

  • the Land of Nephi in the Book of Mormon named after Nephi1. It was sometimes also called the Land of Lehi-Nephi. Template:Sourcetext
  • the City of Nephi, the most prominent city in the Land of Nephi.
  • Nephi, Utah, a modern city named after the Nephi(es) of the Book of Mormon.

Books

  • the First Book of Nephi and Second Book of Nephi, the first two books of the Book of Mormon, both written by Nephi1.
  • the Third Nephi, the eleventh book of the Book of Mormon, written by Nephi3.
  • the Fourth Nephi, the twelfth book of the Book of Mormon, written by Nephi4 and his descendants.
  • the Small Plates of Nephi, a book made of metal plates begun by Nephi1 and continued by several other authors, from which the first six books of the Book of Mormon were translated
  • the Large Plates of Nephi, a book made of metal plates begun by Nephi1 and continued by several other authors, of which most of the Book of Mormon is an abridgment and translation.
