Sharing time is a major part of primary. It is a 30-minute period that allows children of combined age-groups to participate in activities and sing songs that teach gospel principles. Each month, the church has a theme, such as the October 2006 theme, which is, Latter-day prophets teach me the way to obtain God’s promises. “What I the Lord have spoken, I have spoken, . . . whether by mine own voice or by the voice of my servants, it is the same” (D&C 1:38). Sharing time includes singing, and fun activities to help teach gospel principles to children ages 3-12.
